Based in the George Square area in the central campus of the University of Edinburgh, the 2018 conference will utilise modern teaching spaces both for plenary sessions and for panels. All venues are in a pedestrianized area, 2-3 minutes apart. The venues have full wheelchair access and are equipped with up to date presentation equipment. George Square can be found just to the south of the famous Old Town area of Edinburgh.
The venues are: Appleton Tower, 50 George Square and the Lower Ground rooms in David Hume Tower. Please note that the Opening & Closing Sessions and Keynotes will take place in 50 George Square G.03 and live streamed to Appleton Tower, Lecture Theatre 5.
WiFi: All venues have eduroam facilities and it is strongly encouraged for attendees to register for this service with their home institutions as this provides the best network. For more information about the eduroam network you can refer to the eduroam website: https://www.eduroam.org There is also a secondary wireless network that attendees can use; however, this network is not secure.
